I'm a Central American woman raised in the San Fernando Valley, now a wife, mom of four, and a Family Nurse Practitioner.
My life has always centered around caring for others at home, in my community, and in my work. Baking first found me in my younger years, but it wasn't until recently that I rediscovered it and realized how deeply it spoke to me.
What started as a simple hobby quickly became a therapeutic, grounding, and confidence-building. Sourdough has given me a sense of purpose and creativity that I didn't event know I was missing. It reminds me daily that growth takes time, patience, and heart - values I hope to pass on to my children.
I want them to see firsthand that anything is possible with dedication and love. Every loaf I bake is a reflection of that journey - resilience, culture, family, and finding my way back to something that feels truly mine.
